The Yandina Community Gardens have a combined Celebration for National Permaculture Day and the Garden’s 10th Birthday on Sunday 6 May.

The gardens will be open for the celebrations and invite all members of the community to come along and join with in celebrating both the garden’s 10th birthday and National Permaculture Day.  

It will be a day of socialising and 'getting to know you'.  The pizza oven will be fired up for lunch from around noon ($4.00 a slice plus salad); tea and coffee will be available and, weather permitting, we will be baking some cakes in the solar oven (you are welcome to bring along cake/dessert to share also). 

Our volunteers will be on hand to answer any questions and to give personal guided tours if required.  There will also be seeds and plants for sale.

Membership renewals can also be completed on the day and there will also be the opportunity for anyone interested to sign up for the Sunshine Coast Council's 'Living Smart' program.
