• ways to reduce your spending at home;
• how to shop wisely for groceries;
• the value of monitoring your electricity and water;
• budgeting;
• getting rid of commercial supermarket cleaners and making your own.

This workshop is part of a series of 2012 Kitchen Table Talks sponsored by the Sunshine Coast Regional Council. All workshops cost $5. The first time you attend a workshop, you’ll be asked to join the Maleny Neighbourhood Centre (MNC) as an ordinary member. That costs $5.50 and you don’t pay for that first workshop. Every other workshop after that costs $5 but membership is renewed annually. By increasing local membership, the MNC can successfully apply for funding to keep operating.
